Baltimore Ravens (13-6) at San Francisco 49ers (13-4-1)
Winner: San Francisco 49ers
Here we go. The last game of the season and it comes down to the head coaches that happen to be brothers, John and Jim Harbaugh. This game has many story lines and should be a great game. They have Harbaugh Bowl, Ray Lewis last game before he retires, Colin Kaepernick starting his 10th game of his career. Both teams have never lost in the Super Bowl, the 49ers are 5-0 and the Ravens are 1-0 so something has to give. I feel that Colin Kaepernick will have a big game and have an impact by throwing and running the ball. Kaepernick has a lot of weapons to choose from like Michael Crabtree, Vernon Davis and Randy Moss. Frank Gore will also have a big game and break down the Ravens defense and take pressure off of Kaepernick. Kaepernick will keep the Ravens defense off balance and keep them guessing all game long. The 49ers defense has to shut down Ray Rice and put pressure on Joe Flacco. They can’t let Flacco sit in the pocket with no pressure and throw the deep ball to Torrey Smith or Anquan Boldin. The Ravens have played great during this Super Bowl run and Joe Flacco has been the reason. Flacco has stepped up a lot this postseason and is playing the best he has ever played in his career. Flacco has to continue to play like he has and he has to take care of the ball and attack the 49ers secondary. Flacco has to get the ball to his playmakers Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith. Ray Rice has to have a big game running against this great 49ers defense and keep Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers offense off the field. The key part of the game is if the Ravens defense can slow down Colin Kaepernick and force him to make plays with his arm and not with his legs. The Ravens defense also has to shut down Frank Gore and slow down the 49ers explosive offense. I think that the 49ers offense has too many weapons and can beat you thru the air and ground and will be too much for the Ravens defense to handle.
